The band had stated that they wanted to make an album of ten potential hit singles and this is evident in the pop style and production of the finished product. All three of Vapen Och Ammunition's singles went to number one on the Swedish charts, and the album sold more than 500 000 copies, making it Kent's best selling album to date. Vapen Och Ammunition also set a new record by winning seven Swedish grammies. Initially Kent had plans to also release Vapen Och Ammunition in an English version, as you can see in the Dom Andra video where the tape is labelled "Guns and Ammunition". However they later scrapped the idea, deciding to give up on their international push and instead focus on the Nordic countries. Titiyo sings vocals on Duett with Joakim Berg.
